We are Kirk and Keren, two travel lovers who met in Spain and who went on a spontaneous trip around Andalusia, Spain on just our second date — since then we have been on countless trips together.
HOW WE STARTED NOMADIC INSIGHT
On that trip, we planned to enter Gibraltar, but, in what would foreshadow future difficulties of traveling with a Venezuelan passport (especially one that was issued due to «material shortages«), we were denied entry.
We were meant to be together
We found each other—and never stopped exploring
Kirk is from the United States, but has lived abroad for around a decade — much of that time being in Spain.
As alluded to, Keren is from Venezuela, now resides in Spain, and has spent time in various LATAM countries.
Together, as of the end of 2023, we’ve visited around 20 countries together, though we’re not counting
We love traveling together and getting to know new places, even if those places aren’t popular travel destinations.
